Every year the one thing Claire/Clarence would look forward to were her holidays. Over the 20 years we were married we holidayed in numerous different places, some of her favourites were; Antigua, the Maldives, New Zealand, Cuba, Tobago, Aruba...the list goes on. Since 2006 one place has become very special to us, San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia, Spain). We owned a top floor apartment there and holidayed there 3 times a year. We had to sell the apartment in 2011 as Claire was no longer able to use the stairs to our apartment, but we continued to go out there, renting various properties. From the age of 6 months (2007) we would take our No. 1 granddaughter Jessica to San Pedro every year, at first on our own and later with Sarah and Lee (Daughter and Son-in-Law), it was where the "San Pedro 5" was born. We had some memorable holidays there, it is one place Jessica (now 9) always talks about. It was like a second home for Claire and I and holds a very special place in our hearts. Claire pleaded with me that I should continue to go to San Pedro when she was no longer with us, either on my own or with the "San Pedro 5", I promised. Today I can tell you Clarence that I will be going to San Pedro on my own, April 25th, and with the "San Pedro 5" July 20th, I know you will be there with me.
